Forms of Credit Recognized: The University will award credit based on the following measurements of noncollegiate learning: proficiency examinations (CLEP, DANTES, AP), formal noncollegiate course work for which credit recommendations have been established by National PONSI or ACE CCRS, military experiences recommended for credit by the American Council on Education. Up to 30 credits of a student’s degree may be earned through these methods. A maximum of 60 credits may be transferred from 2-year colleges, 90 credits maximum may be transferred from 4 year colleges (70 credits of lower division courses and 20 credits of upper division courses).
Additional Information: Individuals may enhance their professional development through various open enrollment courses and certificates online. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are offered for some courses and groups of courses.
