Type of Institution: Public Comprehensive.
Degrees Available: Thomas Edison State College offers associate, baccalaureate and master's degrees in more than 100 areas of study. Undergraduate degrees include: Associate in Applied Science; Associate in Arts; Associate in Science in Applied Science and Technology; Associate in Science in Business Administration; Associate in Science in Natural Sciences and Mathematics; Associate in Science in Public and Social Services; Bachelor of Arts; Bachelor of Science in Applied Science and Technology; Bachelor of Science in Business Administration; Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences (a joint degree program with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey); Bachelor of Science in Human Services; Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership; and Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In addition, the College offers five online graduate programs. The Master of Science in Human Resources Management serves human resources professionals who wish to become strategic partners in their organizations. The Master of Science in Management serves employed adults with managerial experience. The Master of Arts in Liberal Studies provides professionals an opportunity to study the liberal arts from an applied perspective. The Master of Arts in Educational Leadership serves adults who wish to prepare for roles as school leaders. The Master of Science in Nursing program is designed for experienced RNs who want a quality education with the convenience and flexibility that an online program can provide.
Forms of Credit Recognized:
Thomas Edison State College will award credit based on the following measurements of noncollegiate learning: CLEP, ACT/PEP, DANTES, TECEP® (Thomas Edison State College Examination Program), the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC), military experiences recommended for college credit by ACE, corporate experiences recommended for credit by the ACE CCRS and National PONSI, credits for certain licenses and certificates, and individual assessment of prior learning through Thomas Edison State College's Prior Learning Assessment program. Up to 100 percent of a student's degree may be earned through a combination of these methods.

Under "Degrees Available," the list of degree programs generally contains those  that are designed to accommodate working adults.

Under "Type of Institution," Comprehensive refers to an institution that offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
