Verizon is a leader in the global information/telecommunication industry. Verizon Training, Education and Development provides courses in many different areas to give employees throughout the corporation the opportunity for professional and personal growth at various intervals in their careers. Courses focus on developing the employee’s technical, administrative, and managerial skills. (NOTE: The courses listed below were evaluated and recommended for college credit for New York Telephone Company prior to its merger with NYNEX, Bell Atlantic,  and then Verizon.)
