What can National PONSI do for your organization?

National PONSI provides a unique service that can add significant value to the learning experiences offered by your organization, whether you are a company training its own employees, a professional association offering continuing education courses or certification programs, or an organization that offers courses to the public. How? National PONSI makes it possible for participants in your courses or programs to earn college credit.

The National Program on Noncollegiate Sponsored Instruction (National PONSI) is a not-for-profit educational advisory service that fosters linkages between non-degree granting organizations and college degrees. National PONSI evaluates noncollegiate learning experiences and publishes the results in CCR Online, (the online successor to the Program's former print publication, College Credit Recommendations) a resource used by colleges nationwide as a guide in awarding credit for learning experiences outside of the college classroom.

As a program of the Board of Regents of The University of the State of New York, the most comprehensive educational organization in the nation, National PONSI has been highly successful in obtaining academic recognition for noncollegiate learning experiences   for over 25 years. The Program counts among its member organizations some of the best known names in corporate America, as well as many professional associations, labor unions, government agencies, hospitals, and proprietary schools.
